Trims and Touch Ups!

I realized yesterday that the work on the house is mirroring real-life house projects. And, I don't mean that they just sit for a while. 😁 I really mean that the entire focus, when I've actually been focused, is on the interior while I'm kind of getting the itch to get to the outside projects as the real weather pretends to turn into Spring.

And, I do mean pretends. But, that's a different issue.

Anyway, I sat and looked at the house to take note of projects and details that really need to be finished, and the upstairs trim was definitely the winner of my recent efforts! I know I noted that in a previous post, but that doesn't always mean that's what I'm going to do. But, this time, I did!

The bedroom went from this ...
... to this!
Here's the craft room trim, too:
I finally finished the little half wall project, too:
I also finished the half wall project complete with a ledge on top!
Because you have to make a place for a kitty ...
The diagonal piece of trim up the back side was needed to cover the fact that I stuck the wall in there with the putty stuff. I didn't want this wall permanent mostly because I haven't figured out what I'm doing with the floor up there. The putty works really, really well, so I'm very satisfied with using it here. But, it did need to be covered.

I like that trim, but it's a tricky little sucker to install because it's sooooo thin! A little Fast Grab glue helped maintain my sanity here:
Here is the wall from the other side:
I'm probably overly proud of myself  about that wall!
I'm suuuuuuuuuper happy with how this turned out!

I also spent some time surveying where in the house white touch-up paint is needed from previous trim projects and the ensuing utilization of wood filler to cover gaps or holes. After touching those up, I managed to do this:
Hammer meets skin on top of paint can.
Next? I move the furniture back into those rooms and think through the next step! I think it might be about time to introduce some people and things ...
